Hi everyone,

I attended a TCS walk-in interview in Kochi on 12 September 2026 for an experienced role.

I completed:

• Technical round ✅
• Managerial round ✅

They told me that the HR round will be conducted over a phone call.

I have a few questions for people who recently went through the TCS lateral hiring process:

1. How long does it usually take for HR to call after the technical + managerial rounds?
2. After the HR round, how long does it normally take to receive the Offer Letter (OL)?
3. They mentioned something about candidates being put into a "pool" even after joining. What exactly does this mean?
4. They also mentioned a possible client round. When does the client round happen, and is it before or after joining?
5. Does being put into a pool mean I am selected but waiting for a project/client allocation?
6. Any tips for avoiding mistakes during the HR round, especially regarding salary, notice period, documents, or other questions?

If anyone recently attended a TCS Kochi walk-in and can share their actual timeline, it would be really helpful.
