I keep seeing all these invites from other camps and I just want to be up front that you can’t join mine. It’s super exclusive and you wouldn’t fit in even if you tried. If you want to try, you can I guess, but you’ll probably fail. (There’s not like a test or anything, just a zoom call with the camp leaders. They’re all really cool and intimidating.)

We’re all hot. Hot, fun, sex-positive hetero mostly-white people. ACAB. So what if we’re all couples? My girlfriend is openly bisexual (but we’re exclusive). I’m straight and don’t swing any other way, except for being slightly peg-curious. I’m not in the closet or anything like that either, but for the record I don’t have a problem with gay people.

Most of us live in CA, but we’re from really relatable places, and, before you assume we’re a bunch of prep school snobs, most of us do actually have jobs both in and outside of LA. We all ride bikes on the playa just like normal people (we have a e-bike charging port next to the ice machine).

We’re a super tight knit camp with a lot of cool, hot people who understand what teamwork means. We care about each other and take care of our own. It would be awkward if you bought a ticket and camped with us, no cap, sorry bro.

Also none of us are going this year.

I recently lost my mom and I’m on a grief trip in Malaga until Thursday then 5 nights in Torremolinos. I’m an American / Austrian playwright, performer and theatre director, and cooking is a huge passion of mine. I am hoping to find a local foodie to show me an amazing tapas bar or share a proper paella, which I’ve never had (I’ve quickly learned it’s not a one-person dish). I’ve been told to try gay apps to find someone, but I’d rather find a new friend than just a hookup.

And I mentioned the mom thing just to be honest. :) If anyone is free and around the next few days and can teach me about your city & local gay culture, let me know!
