do dogs fart this much normally or is something wrong

its like 10pm, im sitting on the couch with our dog and the smell coming off him right now is making my eyes water. i need to know if this is just life or if i should be worried
I know that obviously do dogs fart, ive had him since he was a puppy and hes always been a little gassy. but the past two weeks its been on a whole different level. like clearing the room level. my kid literally said daddy why does it smell like a stinky tonight and ran upstairs
nothing else has changed that i can think of. same food (the chicken and rice kibble hes been on for over a year), same treats, same walks. only thing thats different is my wife switched him to a slightly cheaper version of his usual food about 3 weeks ago because the regular one was sold out at the store. could that be it?
hes acting totally normal otherwise. eating fine, drinking fine, energy is good, poops look normal as far as i can tell (i dont exactly study them but nothing screaming wrong). just constant gas. like every 20 minutes. its a real problem when youre trying to watch tv
tried googling and got the usual mix of totally normal to could be a serious gi issue, see a vet immediately which is super helpful as always. some sites mentioned switching foods too fast can cause this for a few weeks but i dont know if 3 weeks is still in the adjusting window or if were past that
i dont wanna run to the vet over farts and look ridiculous but i also dont wanna ignore something that turns out to be a real issue. id rather not pay for a visit if its just give it more time
for anyone whos dealt with this, do dogs fart more when you switch their food and how long does it usually take to settle down? or is two weeks of brutal gas a sign something else is going on

Hi, I’m trying to sort out feeding options for my cat after hearing mixed opinions from friends. Someone swears raw food changed their cat's life, and now I'm interested about can cats eat raw chicken. My cat is 4, healthy, indoor only, and interested in any food that isn't hers. Last night I was cooking dinner and she appeared instantly when I opened the chicken package. I did not give her any, but then spent an hour reading articles instead of eating my own meal while it got cold.

Some people say it's natural and fine if handled properly. Others warn about bacteria, nutrition gaps, and risks for pets or humans in the house. But giving small amounts as a treat are different from feeding it regularly, or is raw chicken just not worth the risk at all? For those with experience, can cats eat raw chicken safely, or is cooked food better?
