Bone Graft: Necessary or Do I wait?

Hello. Well, my question is basically what the title says. But a little background: I got a root canal a few years ago, naturally my tooth genes aren't great, and that tooth (D5) wasn't good. I got the root canal to remove that infection but turns out it never really left, and you see the little mass with the scans. Now, I feel NO pain what so ever on the root canal tooth, but my dentist said we should remove the canal, apply bone graft and wait a months for the implant. Im 25, its the tooth next to my Canine (which they say is a strong healthy tooth) and they said they dont want it to cause issues. I haven't had any, and I don't know how long the bone graft recovery will leave me bed ridden (I had the wisdom removed in February, not great). So, any help? Can I wait or just do it asap?

  1. I have a budget of around 3.5k usd for the camera body (I deserve to spoil myself).

  2. Mainly Portraits, Street Photography, and I'm starting to get into Sports Photography.

  3. Right now I have a CANON R50, with only kit lens 18-45mm & 55-210mm.

  4. I'd like to say I'm a novice when it comes to photography.

I've only ever shot with Canon. I had an M50 and I now have had the R50 for a few years. Both are just beginner friendly and I've only ever used the kit lens. But I want to start shooting more, even with kit lens I got my stills to look great.

My question is: Is it better for me to start off with the SONY or stay with CANON?

I mean, CANON is all I ever had, even though its just two low end cameras. I have had no complaints whatsoever, but I feel is a necessary upgrade time. I am a 80/20 for photos compared to video. I really enjoy portrait/street photography, I love shooting stills, and a cropped sensor feels unreasonable if I want to continue doing so. This is more so a hobby for me, but who knows, maybe I can get a few bucks here and there.

I know the color formulas are different, and I've seen both they are great in my opinion. I do know the R6iii has more AF points, but the A7V has a partially stacked sensor. I see I have Open Gate video with CANON yet the stills come out in 12 bit compared to 14 bit in the SONY. All of these are are mere points, I know a camera can't be perfect for everything, so thats the point of this, for pire advice.

CANON glass is bigger in size, and I know overall they may have the edge, and I'd rather stay with the 1st party lens to get the full properties of the camera for SONY.

Thank you in advance, I will really appreciate any help.
