Do the straps break in eventually?

I bought an MPL22 about six months ago and it’s perfect except the straps feel very stiff to me. I’ve tried flexing / bending / rolling them but that didn’t make much difference. Curious to hear from others if I can expect the straps to soften up with more use… Should I load it up with something heavy and wear it around the house next?

In case it matters: I’m a medium sized woman - I don‘t find the straps too thin, I think they are slightly too wide, a bit stiff/thick, and slightly too far apart. Buckling the sternum strap helps with the last bit. Mostly it’s the stiffness I hope to solve.

TOC + ability to add images is a gamechanger

Thanks to u/rmitchellscott for reManager and better-toc, and reMarkable for the ability to drop in images using the desktop app (Connect subscription required), my daily journal/planner is now exactly how I want it. I didn't think it would change my daily workflow that much, but it did, and is just a daily delight.

- I can't draw (wish I could), downloaded drawings from Wikimedia Commons

- Made workflow templates myself in PowerPoint, then exported as an image - it just looks so much neater now. Also if you were troubled by the inability to combine pages from various reMarkable methods notebooks - now you kind of can.

- The Table of Contents is amazing functionality (especially the ability to link out to other notebooks)

Anyway, just wanted to say a general thanks to the community for the ideas and tools!

Upgraded from RM1 > Paper Pure

(The Pro in the middle is my son’s)

I am really happy with the Pure. It‘s definitely faster and it feels more premium (at least coming from RM1) but still lightweight and a portable size. I was worried I wouldn’t like the writing feel, but while RM1 is slightly butterier, the Pure is a nice writing experience too. I find the marker plus slightly heavy and may try the regular marker to see if it’s closer to my RM1 marker, which I love.
