What's the best app for relatively simple music making?
i don't need much at all, all i'd use it for is making rough demos for my band, any recommendations?

i had some problems with it so i reinstalled rockbox, when i turned the Y1 on for the first time after that it took me to the rockbox menu thing, i wanted to go back to the normal innioasis menu so i pressed "reboot to stock firmware" in the system settings
it gave me a warning asking if i'm sure and saying that if i want to switch back to rockbox i need to press and hold back + play for 15-20 seconds
now i wanna go back and when i do that nothing happens, i know rockbox is still installed (duh) because when i launch the device theres the giant rockbox title + the files are still there, but how do i go back? i wanna use plugins
i installed rockbox on the Y1 and i THINK it works? (when i shut it down and turn it back up the rockbox text appears) but i have no idea how to access the file menu thingy, i'm trying to run doom and because i can't find the plugins folder i run it
online guides say to hold the OK button while on the main screen but it just shuts the screen, any ideas?
i'm currently trying out kubuntu and i have 2 monitors (one on the left is 21:9 60hz, one on the right is 75hz 16:9) and for whatever reason my mouse felt okay on the left monitor, but really laggy/choppy on the right one
so i looked online a lot and this tutorial has worked for me.. (i needed to change the grub setting GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash", i don't know the details of how it works because i'm new but i needed to add some text after the quiet splash)
and it "works" great, but the thing is now while on the right monitor the mouse is good, it's the same issue on the left one, and as better as it is because the right one is my main monitor, it'd still be nice for the mouse to work on both monitors
(the mouse in question is the g502 hero, i've seen a lot about logitech mice being troubling on ubuntu but it doesnt seem to be the problem here)
UPDATE: the problem returned, so now the lagging is on both monitors :/
if that matters I'm mainly interested in punk music
