Most of the show was played for laughs but wardrobe could turn it up now and then. Nancy's lingerie is total dream material. Another personal favorite is Jenna in James Franco's shirt and no pants. What's on your list?

When Tracy learns that Thomas Jefferson was his ancestor, he says, "I don't know who I am any more! There's been a Black man inside of me for a long time. Now there's a white guy up in here, too!"
I choose to believe it's one of 30 Rock's homages to Arrested Development, where Tobias is hinted at being an albino Black man (including through the cover of his book, The Man Inside Me).
Coincidentally(?), this episode is also Devon Banks' first appearance, played by Will Arnett, one of the main cast on Arrested Development.
Other connections include harbor police attempting to board the yacht in S01E02, which also happened in Arrested Development (and the music in the episode is reminiscent of Arrested Development's distinctive music; P.S. the yacht in Arrested Development is named "Lucille," which is the mother's name; the yacht in 30 Rock is named "Avanti Domani," which Tracy says is Spanish for "remember your mother").
Also, S07E01 featured a dead dove (Jenna "bought them at the dead dove store"), which was a notable plot element on Arrested Development (Will Arnett's character intends to return it to the pet store).
