Hi! I'm seeking some feedback on the floorplan I'm working on for my future renovation - photos are before/after. The house is on stumps so moving plumbing is not difficult. I'm in the southern hemisphere so north=south for me. Unfortunately the patio can't be extended a meaningful amount without encroaching on the driveway/garage :(
Do any of these paint colours work for this living room/sofa? I'm feeling a bit paralyzed with indecision. I think I like the darker colour best but I'm a bit scared to take the plunge, I'm not opposed to going dark and moody. I included ai mockups of my top 2. The room is south facing (southern hemisphere) so while it does have a nice large window, the light is cool toned and rarely direct. Eventually we will renovate the house so as of right now the curtains and paint colour are the only things I can change out. The carpet will eventually be removed and the tasmanian oak floorboards underneath will be restored, possibly some wall changes etc.
Plz help me, I've been looking at these mock ups too long and I feel too paralyzed to make a decision. I want to do a French wash in the living room. It's south facing (southern hemisphere) so while there is a big window it's cool indirect light. I don't mind leaning into something a bit moodier and I like the texture French wash adds!
Right now the only things I can really change are the wall colour and curtains/styling, eventually we will do a full renovation.
