I have a big grade 8/9 lesion 9mm right side near boundary. The scans have shown no metastasis but I don't think they are reliable according to a search so microscopic movement likely. Rest of prostate on biopsy insignificant cores (whatever that means!). They (NHS) have put me on Orgovyx but yet to have first PSA on that. Last PSA was 5.8 but rise was highest couple of years (1.7 in 2022). HIFU not an option here so I'm guessing more ADT and radiation to allow for possible metastasis not detected. I have no symptoms and otherwise healthy at 79yrs with eGFR of 72. Anyone with. similar experience?

The NHS team has given me Orgovyx which I have been on for 3 weeks. No seriously sides yet. Scans show no metastasis so if have to continue until first PSA retest (last was 5.8). Discussion seems to be around stay on ADT and avoid radiation of other method of eliminating the lesion. I am 79 so I'm guessing my natural life span suggests that's the best decision. I have had a TURP and self catheterise for a stricture. These seem to be a factor for them. But I guess the options are still open to eliminate the lesion somehow. Anyone been on ADT long term and survived any metastasis?

I am in the process of being assessed with my PC (one lesion gleeson 8/9) and NHS has given me Orgovyx which I have been taking for 2 weeks now. No real sides yet. Understand if I continue on this I will need to support my muscles and Bones due to no testosterone. NHS MCT has not recommended any supplements only telling me (when I was told the result of the biopsy) that I might get some belly fat. Still awaiting scans result for metastasis. Seeking input for my research on supplementing the above. Or any other related advice. many thanks. I am 79 no co-morbidities and fit.

Lesion one side with 8/9 spots and several insignificant spots throughout. now waiting on full body (bone?) scan and lower CT scan both to check for metastatic problems. The lesion is right near the periphery but asaik not breaching. Put on Orgovyx. Looks like I haven't got long to live now!?
