Song sparrow with a small tail/no tail?

Been seeing this guy around and it looks like it doesn’t really have the longer tail feathers that song sparrows normally have. He seems to get around fine and gets on the feeder. Maybe falls a tad bit faster when jumping off of the deck.

What did I find in the creek/river bed?

Half of it is perfectly rounded. Looks like it used to be a full sphere, about the size of a marble. Any idea on material? Granite? It’s definitely more rock like than glass. Is it just a rock? It seems too perfect. In georgia, USA in a creek off the chattahoochee river

Need help identifying this doll. Was bought in Germany around 15 years ago from i’m assuming the store on the shoe.
