Is this low enough to consider treatment?

Is this low enough to consider treatment?

Title says it. I have a whole host of symptoms mostly neurological, gut and libido related which I attribute to PSSD but figured I would nail down anything else that could be causing negative symptoms. Anyone have experience with my levels? I am very sensitivity to methylated supplements as well.

Work brings too much dread

Really really really struggling with work. I am in a role where I have to give presentations and it destroys me. I have been giving weekly presentations for a year and every time it destroys me. I have zero ability to feel confidence or feel any sort of positivity even after giving a good one. This does not feel normal and it feels like it’s my PSSD-induced anhedonia not allowing myself to feel any sort of dopamine or confidence.

Any experience?

Feeling trapped in a broken body

25M PSSD for close to 2 years now and am really starting to lose it more and more every week.

I am currently the healthiest I think I have ever been in my
life in terms of diet, exercise, no substance use, etc. but I am the most miserable I have ever been. Deep down there is a such a hunger to do and to be human but there is no way to turn myself back on - completely shut down.

Feels like I have zero dopaminergic activity. Work feels terrible, no interest in talking to people, no interest in relationships (family, friends, sexual), libido is low to zero (I have almost full sensitivity however), blank mind, and I have this raw feeling in my chest constantly that feels like some sort of internal inflammation.

I’m really losing it here - thinking about trying
ADHD meds but don’t see this being a long term solution and don’t think they are gonna work honestly. I have serious lack of confidence and dread to do anything especially work related so when the meds start to wear off, I’m afraid i’m gonna be screwed.

Window with gluten free diet

Symptoms: low/zero libido, blank mind, massive depression, anhedonia, anxiety, general low dopaminergic activity, constant feeling of inflammation

Decided to try a gluten free diet not too long ago. The first two weeks were very rough in terms of depression but after that, I experienced 30-40% improvement in my symptoms. This lasted for close to a month but now currently I have reverted and almost feel worse off than before. Has anyone experienced this?

1.5 years of PSSD - Possibly feeling some recovery

1.5 years of PSSD at this point after discontinuing Zoloft.

Symptoms:

Depression, anxiety, inability to feel love or connection, very little dopaminergic activity in my brain, brain fog, deep feelings of dread, uncomfortable, consistent anxious feeling up the right side of my body, low to zero libido, cognitive impairment (feels like I have lost 20 IQ points), memory impairment.

Treatment methods:

B vitamins, probiotics, rifaximin, ketamine, shrooms, tong kat ali, fish oil, Alpha GPC, oxytocin spray, caffeine, Wellbutrin, Buspirone, no fap,

Possibly feeling some recovery

I have tried the above treatment methods over the past 1.5 years. Experienced maybe a couple short lived windows but for the most part, my condition continued to get worse. More and more depressed and feeling like everything has been sucked out of me. 30 days ago I decided to try something else - going gluten free. I have never had a problem with gluten my entire life (that I know of) so I did not have faith this was gonna do much but decided why not (i'm really approaching the end here). I am currently almost sober (drink occasionally) i.e. no caffeine, nicotine, supplements (besides the ones I'm about to mention) as these typically made my symptoms worse. The first 2 weeks of going gluten free put me into a pretty deep depression but I decided to stick with it. At the same time, I have been taking probiotics and Vitamin D supplements. Fast forward 30 days later, I am feeling better than I have in years and hoping to God that this is not just an extended window. My brain fog is reduced, I have more energy, my depression and anxiety are improved, I am feeling some level of dopaminergic activity, I'm experiencing some libido and some desire to connect with people. Overall, a 30-40% improvement in all symptoms.

Anyone have experience with this?

Curious on how to break into SiPh

2024 EE Bachelors grad here that took a sales engineer job but am looking to get back into actual engineering lol. My interests in school and some of the research I did involved optics and took the UBC PIC course as well which I enjoyed.

Some questions I have ...
Does anyone here know about a silicon photonics program at Georgia Tech or know professors doing related research?

What does a photonics test engineer actually do? (likely interested in Masters only so I figured this is the only job I can get to start)

Help Interpreting Results

I suffer from severe depression and anxiety as well as PSSD for about 1.5 years now. I was looking for answers about 13 weeks ago and decided to get some blood work done…

03/20/2026 results:
B12: 348 pg/ml [200 - 1100]
Vit D 25-OH Total: 38 ng/ml [30 - 100]
TSH: .9 mlU/L [0.4 - 4.5]

I saw the somewhat low B12 level and started supplementing MethylB-12 1000mcg and MethylFolate 400mcg. Within a couple of days I experienced a hard depressive crash which lasted for a couple of weeks and of course stopped supplementing.

Fast forward …

05/29/2026 results:
B12: 420
Folate: 5.7 ng/ml
Ferritin: 46
MMA: 107
Iron: 182 (saturation percentage flagged high)

I have also tested for COMT/MTHFR assessment/mutation assessment …

COMT: A/G, Heterozygous, Intermediate Enzyme Activity
MTHFR: C677T Mutation, T/T, Lowest level enzyme activity

Please let me know how to interpret these and if I can benefit from supplementation of some sort.
