Hi there! I’ve been bartending for less than a year now and am workshopping a halloween/fall cocktail for the bar i work at. i have access to ingredients, a great kitchen, and tools at my disposal.
i have a pretty good grasp on building a cocktail but have never created something original. I had an idea for an appletini using gin, calvados, homemade granny smith apple syrup, lemon/lime, maybe something else? I also thought about adding velvet falernum for a spiced element + color. These are all just ideas floating around in my head
I don’t have access to the bar for the next couple days so i have some time to think about specs/prep. Any advice or recommendations would be much appreciated!! I genuinely will take any suggestions that come to mind. Thank you!
My friend has been searching the internet for a specific image of Kim and Jimmy’s briefcases together. I’m not sure exactly what she’s talking about but wanted to help her find it. Anybody have any ideas?
I was so happy to see all the people getting inspiration from my lunch yesterday! Thanks to everyone for the tips :-)
I had a can of smoked trout from Trader Joe’s I have been holding onto for a while. I made a quick trout salad with capers, dill, lemon, greek yogurt and kewpie mayo. Enjoyed that with edamame, the same arugula carrot salad as yesterday, blackberries, golden kewis, Dubliner kerrygold cheese, and my favorite fig & olive crackers from Trader Joe’s!
A really satisfying and perfect meal for me. Thanks again for all the support, I can’t wait to keep posting these cute little lunches!!
went with the nuri in tomato sauce. roasted radishes, arugula carrot salad, soft boiled eggs, and sourdough english muffin.
The sardine HIT with the tangy salad and creamy egg. Still not sure how i feel about it on it’s own but i’m excited to try more tins!
Any spicy or tangy tin recommendations?
