Prop Safety

Seeing multiple falls during shows recently, and knowing that's not an uncommon thing, I'm curious what people think about risk in terms of prop design? Do we need to have contras jazz running down 30 degree inclines? Especially when they're on slick, scenic finishes? Not sure if additional rules are the answer, or if that's a slippery slope (pun not intended but happy coincidence). I know that's pretty open ended but things like slope and friction are pretty straightforward ways to reduce falls and hopefully avoid injuries. I'm a bit worried that injury prevention is a case-by-case issue dependent on how far the design team is willing to go for GE, rather than having a ceiling for member safety. Or maybe there are already rules and I'm unaware? Just curious what people think.

*I don't think anyone's intentionally risking safety for points obviously, more questioning if the system rewards risk and what the bounds are
