Hi, I’m new to Flushing and would like some recommendations for indoor spaces in the area that are pet-friendly.
I sometimes want to take my dog with me when I study on the weekends, so he wouldn’t at home by himself and so he can get some enrichment time. I’m not sure where pets are allowed, so I’ve been in my apartment to give my little homie some company. However, I would like to change my study location once in a while to stay focused.

I have a small, non-service dog who is potty-trained, up-to-date with his vaccinations, and is socialized. He would either be on a leash or in his dog sling when in the indoor spaces. He doesn’t really bark/yap/howl and is especially a good boy when he gets his treats 🐶🥹 Any recommendation would help my little homie and me out. Thanks!

How is it going after the switch? Do you regret getting Paragard or do you still prefer it? I would like to know since I switched not too long ago myself. Let me know the good and bad.

The switch came after my experiences of constant brain fog, spiraling anxiousness and depression, and weight gain of around 25 lbs/11kg over the past 6 months on Mirena. That Mirena was preceded by 3 years on the combined pill (eg. Yaz) with similar effects, but with a 40lbs/18kg weight gain. I know that there's no guarantee that the weight gain will stop with Paragard although I hope the psychological issues will not be as amplified. I'm already feeling the brain fog dissipate a little!
