Organizing a physical media fest in NYC

I'm organizing a festival celebrating physical media at a DIY venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn this Saturday, May 16th 6-11pm.

We'll have vendors selling new releases (!) on VHS, vinyl, CDs, personal hand-drawn tarot cards, zines, and cassettes/CDs/vinyl from local performers.

In addition to the market, we'll also have two stages of local music, with eight performances, from folk to rock to live brass.

Hi Bushwick - I'm organizing a Physical Media Festival at DIY space Rubulad in Bushwick. I'm looking for someone to sell hot food at the event. They have electricity and a grill for you to use. The vendor fee is $50, but you keep all profits after that.

We'll have eight performers and eight vendors selling CDs, DVDs, vinyl, cassettes, etc, so we expect a decent-sized crowd. Message me if you're interested.

My collective Hidden City is organizing a summit for underground musicians & event organizers. We all know the music scene in this city is broken. This is an attempt to gather musicians, event organizers, and experts in the music scene to brainstorm ways we can fix it.

It's a free event at a cool warehouse space in E Williamsburg (RSVP for addy) on May 2nd, 12-5pm. We'll have speakers from local music orgs & unions, a community workshop, followed by an open jam (bring your instruments!).

Make new friends & collaborators and let's work together to make the NYC underground music scene the best in the country.
