On the 30th of May, I want to cablecar to the Bucegi Spynix then hike via Omu to the Mălăieşti Chalet (then stay overnight and return back on myself the next day). I am a strong hiker but haven't done a hike like this in a couple of years. I would be going alone.

Is anyone able to give me a sense of how realistic this is? Is there anything I am not considering? How should I prepare?

I have bear spray but assumed at this altitude they are less of an issue.
