Hi all, I'm just getting started setting up an independent activity after having guided for other operators.

I'm on OTAs and in the process of getting a direct site set up, but am curious if I should think about promoting my tours more actively. A lot of friends and family think I should set up social media pages.

I don't want to be an influencer and the idea of having to constantly come up with new content is honestly pretty daunting. Is it really that necessary?

How do you all promote? For those that do use social media, any advice to make it easier/less time consuming?
