Scrolling through my reels today, I stumbled across this reel translating a katha made by Sant Giani Kartar Singh Bhindranwale, in which some very bold claims were made. It claims that “Those with Singh in their name but aren’t Amritdhari - They are guru-less, they can not get liberated — Even mentioning their name is a sin”

If this were true, wouldn’t it also mean that every Guru before Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji would fall under this; every one of their companions; every one of their followers?

As a community, don’t we all agree that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings of love and compassion towards all, regardless of caste, creed, religion etc. should apply in all circumstances? As Sikh’s, one of our core teachings is that no religion has a monopoly on Akaal Purakh, and that there are many different paths that ultimately lead to the one reality.

I apologize if I made any mistakes, I am genuinely just curious what all my brothers and sisters think about this topic.
