hiiiii i've gotten back into the inheritance cycle after years and i wanted to share some doodles of selena—i know she's only ever referenced in the story posthumously but what little we do know about her makes her SUCH an intriguing character to me! i think it's because she's a very interesting diversion from the often idealized dead/missing moms seen in fantasy books, that's what really stuck out to me.

(as for the "SAIKAI" pose... we will talk about that. i want to make an animatic centered around her set to that song.)
