Hi there, just wondering if anyone has any experience with cheap chinese 5-axis machines from alibaba/aliexpress etc, in the 1000-2000$ range.

Are they completley worthless for a ocasional user? I am mostly interested in the hardware side, the software side is something that i am able to tinker with.

I would like to be able to machine at least aluminum, maybe even soft steels.
