Mental effect during fight

Third fight

Me 5'4 18 vs opponent 6'0

Im a good striker and got decent ground game too

Another fight in the featherweight division.

Round 1 went exactly according to the game plan. I controlled the exchanges, secured the takedown, won the scramble, and landed some heavy ground-and-pound. By the end of the round, I was so comfortable that I was just staring at him while he kept chasing a heel hook that wasn't there.

Round 2 was a different story. My left hand was injured and completely numb, but I kept pushing. I faked the shot and landed an overhand that had him rocked. After another scramble against the cage, I secured another takedown. Unfortunately, with my left hand compromised, I couldn't move the way I needed to. He capitalized, locked in a tight guillotine, and I had no choice but to tap.

Sometimes it's just not your day. There are no excuses—only lessons. Every fight is another opportunity to grow, and this one gave me plenty to take away.

The result wasn't what I wanted, but I enjoyed every second of stepping into the cage.

On to the next.

But I had this win and I'm just so fucking regret rn bcuz of my mindset

Even though I was winning my mind was wired so negatively only thinking I'm gon lose , he gon fuck me up and like all the belief in me faded away .

Feel like such a pussy
