Basically OP creates a post on some subreddit asking very newbie-like question. People start answering and then OP starts responding to them, adding some deep-level context which makes no sense considering how low level question was asked to begin with. Meaning the OP should have known the answer from the start.
I keep seeing these type of posts a lot more recently.
My setup:
Source: desktop pc
Fosi audio v3 + dali oberon 1 (acts as a monitor speakers for my pc)
headphones: Focal clear
Now to the problem...
pc + speakers act fine, but headphones have a hiss that started getting on my nerves, so I'm thinking maybe an external dac/amp combo would help.
Currently thinking of Fiio Ka15, maybe FiiO K11(would like to be as small as possible). Would use 3.5 jack for speakers and balanced for headphones.
I would really like to avoid dac's with volume knob since fosi amp has to be turned on by rotating it's knob as well.
What do you think?
