I’m in the process of choosing fabric for my next quilt. With everyone’s help here I decided to use the Star Pop 2 pattern. Are the mix of fabrics I’ve chosen a good combo? I tried to use the black and white photo trick but am still too new to be confident in the mix. Thanks everyone!
I finally managed to find a good organization system for my Grandmother’s Flower Garden project. I used binders and pockets to easily see each one and to make them easier to store and transport. Shoutout to the person who mentioned using thread organizers!
I saw a post recently about someone using thread organizers for storing their EPP hexies and I went down a rabbit hole. I found these coin pockets pages on Amazon and they are amazing. Fits my 1 inch hexies perfectly. This is going to make it so much easier to transport and to store. I had about 5 small tubs taking up table space for the last 6 months. It’s so much easier to see everything as well! Highly recommend!
I just purchased this pattern and am intimidated because it seems more complicated than I am ready for as a beginner quilter. Is there a similar pattern out there that might be more suitable for someone who has just started quilting?
I’m working on this Lucky Stars quilt and now that I can finally try a layout I’m feeling a bit of regret with the background fabric I used. It might be too white and plain? Will it look better once all quilted? I used Calico Cowgirl fat quarters for the coloured fabrics.
