Gun Owners of America is searching for an 18-20 year old plaintiff to challenge the enhanced background check requirement of the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

We are looking for an 18-20 year-old indvidual in the following counties:

First venue choice: Johnstown federal court:

• Counties: Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Somerset

Second venue choice: Pittsburgh federal court

• Counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Washington, and Westmoreland

The anti-gun Democrats in Harrisburg are launching a direct assault on our God-given rights. On Monday, June 8th, the House Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hear two highly critical bills—and we need you to take action IMMEDIATELY to stop them.

HB 2244 (The "Lock Up Your Safety" Mandate): A tyrannical safe storage bill that micro-manages how you defend your own home. If you don't store your firearms in a government-approved manner, you could face criminal prosecution and civil liability. If a criminal breaks into your home and steals your property, you are the one the state wants to punish! It also forces gun dealers to display government-mandated warning signs to shame gun owners.

HB 2245 (Sales Tax Exemption): This bill exempts gun locks and safes from PA sales tax. While safety equipment shouldn't be taxed, this half-measure doesn't go far enough. Why is the state still taxing your constitutionally-protected firearms and ammo?

The Good News: PA State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz is fighting back! She is offering a crucial amendment to expand HB 2245 to exempt ALL firearms and ammunition from the state sales tax.

We must send a loud, clear message to Harrisburg: We will not accept half-measures, and we will NOT allow the state to criminalize our self-defense!
