Can you do Disneyland and DisneySea in one day?

Is it physically possible to get a fulfilling experience doing both parks in one day? I've already booked tickets and noticed that some major rides like Frozen, Pirates etc are scheduled for maintenance. Since we won't be spending time queuing for closed major rides, does it free up enough of the day to make a two park blitz feasible, or is it still a bad idea?

It was insane but I wanted to summarize my experience for anyone planning to get tickets soon.

I had multiple tabs open on both PC and mobile device waiting for the countdown. I used two Chrome tabs one in incognito, one Firefox tab and one browser on my mobile. When the countdown finished, Firefox gave me a queue number around 3,000. The other tabs were way behind with no realistic chance of getting through.

The queue is only half the challenge though. Once you get through the first challenge, you'll likely find that your preferred slots are already taken or the museum is closed on certain days of your trip. (Check the museum calendar in advance and have several backup dates ready)

When I found an available slot and filled out the payment details, I kept getting errors cuz I was trying to buy multiple tickets. And every time you go back to the res page, you'll see slots that were previously open suddenly filling up.

So despite all that chaos, I pushed through and finally got em! If you are going with a partner or a group, I highly recommend being on a voice call and trying to buy your tickets individually but simultaneously. Trying to handle all the tickets by yourself gives you a headache.

Good luck, enjoy your trip!
