Critique my First Grade Classroom Management Plan

Last year was a little bit rough! Because I wasn’t firm enough with my fourth graders, and a smaller upcoming population, I was put on an improvement plan for behavior management and moved to the first grade team.

I’ve shared this with them, and added the whole group incentive after their feedback. They also shared I needed to lower my expectations of only giving one reminder. I also based this off of previous experiences with responsive classroom in undergrad, and PAX my first four years in a different district. It just doesn’t feel complete to me. Any advice?

First Year in First Grade Morning Routine Advice

Hi all! I was moved to first grade this year after teaching fifth my whole career. I’ve been going to my team for questions, but I know they have their own classrooms to run so I feel bad going to them for every little thing.

Anyway, what do mornings look like in the first grade world? Is the visual I made comprehensible enough?
