League mandate?

My season ticket rep is now claiming the seat relocation (see this seat map included in my season ticket renewal map) was a "league mandate." I can't find any information about this online. Has anyone else heard about this?

Any other season ticket holders irked?

Got the renewal info today, and my seats are in one of the sections they'll be relocating. I've had my seats since day one and I actually love the view from there. How is this going to be "an even better matchday atmosphere"?
