Company legislation query

Hey, for the legislation we are allowed to bring in, theres 10 things on the syllabus OR the one Bloomsbury Act.

Is the bloomsbury one all of the others listed consolidated. It says 2014 most recent edition though so I'm confused?

Do we just print off the other acts or must they be bought?

Grading Mistake

Has anyone ever heard of there being a big mistake in the grading of their exam. I mean something that caused a 10% change, like a question being missed by the examiner or an error in tallying them up, whether online or in person. Or something like more than 5 questions were answered and the exmainer accidentally didnt grade the best ones?

Better job for future traineeship - Garda legal CO or legal exec?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on which role traineeship employers would value more on a CV.

The first is a Clerical Officer role with An Garda Síochána in the legal department. The second is a Legal Executive role with a company instructed by solicitors to attend to matters in court, so I would be checking documents, attending court, taking notes of proceedings and reporting back to the solicitor.

I very much like the idea of being in court regularly and I think I would learn a lot. I think the Garda role is a bit more niche and could stand out on future traineeship applications, I also think it could be cool to work for them. I'm not sure of the exact specs for that role but I know a lot of public service jobs allow WFH and study leave.

I have a few FE1s left, so work life balance and time to study are also important but the legal exec job did say they valued leaving work on time.

Would appreciate any opinions.
