Thinking about applying to Caribbean Med School (AUC or Ross) for this upcoming class beginning in August 2026

Hey so I recently had to withdraw from a DO program in my 4th year in the United States due to me failing COMLEX Level 2 three times. I am considering applying to and attending a Caribbean med school this fall because becoming a doctor is a true passion of mine and I would love to see it through.

However, I am also open to other career paths (albeit less so) and really wanted to reach out and ask if anyone has any advice/experience with these medical schools and if this is something I should really pursue.

I do believe I can be successful at medical school this time around. Important to note too is that I am already out 400k in student debt and really don't see a way out of this outside of a physician-PSLF program. Really just wanted to hear general thoughts/opinions on my plans, thanks in advance!

But I didn't want to!

Just an FYI about my journey: I am a 4th year med student at a DO program and I unfortunately just got the bad news that I failed COMLEX Level 2 for the 3rd time yesterday. My school informed me today that I can choose between being dismissed or withdrawing and I will be choosing to withdraw.

However, I wanted to know if anyone knows of any pathways that I could take that would still lead to me becoming a doctor? I am not opposed to going out of the country to the Caribbean or some other route. I also would like to know if it would be possible to join a medical school as a 3rd or 4th year or what that process looks like.

This really sucks and I am still processing but I just wanted to know if anyone knew or has been through something like this. Thanks!
