Hello All, Quick Message from the Mod Team. We just hit a 1,000 members and the activity in this sub has been amazing to watch over the last couple months as the sub has really taken off. I have enjoyed watching the our members help each other, the course rankings, and everything in between. I am excited to continue to watch this sub grow together.
So now the real question: what do you want this place to be?
A few things I've been kicking around:
- Recurring threads (weekly tee time / round recap / course of the week)
- A wiki with course info, green fees, and muni pass breakdowns
- Actual meetups; a sub scramble somewhere central
- Better flairs so you can see who's a Front Range regular vs. a mountain course person
But I'd rather hear your ideas than run with mine. Drop a comment with what you want more of, what you want less of, or something I haven't thought of. Also happy to hear if you think the sub is fine as-is and I should leave it alone.
And if anyone's interested in helping mod, please let me know, always good to have more than one person watching the queue.

I recently turned 16 and my dad told me that I needed to get a job to start paying for my own stuff. He has some buddy’s that we golf with that work at Dick’s Sport Goods in the golf department. I asked them if I could come work with them and they were able to get me a job! It was super exciting and I throughly enjoyed my job. About four months in now and they recently got me started on regripping clubs. The process is pretty easy so I quickly took onto it. Last week some guy brought it 11 clubs to get regripped, including a Ping G410 Driver.
I regripped them all but in the process I must have put his driver in a different pile. I wasn’t working when the guy came and picked up his clubs but they couldn’t find his driver so someone else must have already picked it up. They gave him a demo driver but the manger told me if the person who got his club doesn’t bring it back, I have to pay for this man’s new driver and that I would be fired.
Does anybody have an extra Ping G410 driver they could send me that I could play off as this guys driver? I really love my job and don’t want to get fired. And my dad will probably kill me for getting fired after just 4 months.
