Is Flydigi Space Station software safe?

Hello, I’m very interested in buying the Apex 5 Elite, but I’m extremely worried about the Flydigi Space Station software app that is required for the adaptive triggers to work. I have very valuable files and account passwords on my PC that absolutely cannot leak. It’s a real shame that the app is not open source. Is the app actually that dangerous, or am I just being paranoid?

Also, for the Vader 5 Pro, is it necessary to install the app too, or is it more plug-and-play? I really like its user reviews and its very low latency, which for example is around 10 ms lower than the G7 Pro.

LG G5 gsync flicker even with VRR turned off

At the very beginning, I want to say that I will pay €80 to the person who solves my problem. However, please read the entire post first so you don’t suggest solutions I have already tried.

I bought this LG G5 55inch 2 months ago, and since then I have spent over 15 hours trying to fix this flickering issue. I have read a lot of Reddit threads and articles, but nothing has helped.

The flickering also occurs on my MSI 271QRX QD-OLED monitor, which I connect via DisplayPort, while the TV is connected via HDMI 2.1. The issue appears in exactly the same way on both devices.

The flickering occurs even with DLSS turned off.

My system specs are an RTX 5090 and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

This is not a panel issue, because when G-Sync is disabled, the screen does not flicker at all.

The flickering only happens in games. The desktop is completely stable and looks perfect. The games I tested include: Baldur’s Gate 3, Subnautica, Subnautica: Below Zero, CS2, Spider-Man Remastered, Red Dead Redemption 2, Forza Horizon 5, and NFS Heat.

The flickering is always present while gaming — it is not limited to loading screens, menus, or static images. It occurs consistently during gameplay in all situations.

Things I have already tried, but the issue still persists:

* Disabled VRR in Windows (that little helped but not totally fixed)
* Enabled V-Sync in (NVCP)
* Enabled Low Latency Mode
* Capped FPS in RTSS (even up to 10 FPS below the refresh rate of the TV/monitor)
* Disabled Discord and NVIDIA overlays
* Disabled in-game V-Sync
* Switched LG G5 from 165Hz mode to 120Hz and capped FPS at 110
* Changed HDMI ports on the TV
* Tried a different shorter certified HDMI 2.1 cable (Zeskit Maya)
* Changed HDMI input label on the TV from “PC” to “Console/Game Console”
* Performed a clean driver reinstall using DDU
* Ensured at least 50GB free space on every drive
* HDR is turned OFF

Both the monitor and the TV were bought brand new from completely different sellers in the Netherlands.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? The flickering also appears in bright scenes — it is just less noticeable, but still constantly present.

My last idea is that it could be related to a custom Windows build (AtlasOS), but that seems very unlikely since it should improve performance rather than worsen it.
