I say in general, cause I know Death Battle ain't doing a third (Second cause Deku VS Asta doesn't exist in my eyes 🤫)Izuku episode, so I'd rather do these matchups just a broad point, to really any versus show that does pitches
Well here it is everyone! My Rise LeoZuku mega post! I know this is earlier than my old one, but I wanted to do it today since I finally finished my first year of college, and cause it'll probably pass my mind if I wanted for another two months lol!
Anyways, time for the backstory of this matchup! Back when I started to properly get into vs debating, I didn't really know who I liked for Izuku Midoriya, it was always swapping, but I eventually landed on Miles Morales, but then, in 2022, a certain movie of some turtles that like to rise up came out. At first, I hated the rise iteration of the TMNT. Yes yes, I'm a monster and I didn't like change at all, but when the movie came out, I decided to give it a shot. And surprise surprise, I decided to like this version of the turtles, I enjoyed the characters, their new personalities, the dynamics, and everything about this iteration of the rise Turtles. I felt like I left out a huge part of the turtles that were unique compared to the other versions, and then it hit me. Hey, Deku VS Leonardo is a thing, how about I go ahead and make this rise version vs Deku! And damn, was it a great idea for me, it ended up being really cool to me, and ended up being my second or third favorite matchup of all time, but then, over time, that would change eventually leading to this matchup being my favorite of all time! And to this day, it is still my favorite matchup of all time, and damn, do I still enjoy it.
With this mega post, I will include new things that weren't apart of my original post, and some thumbnails that were made by friends! And I know people might be neutral on this, some might eventually back this matchup up or you might hate this matchup, but to me, that doesn't matter(kinda), because this matchup is my baby, and damn do I love it.
