IIT Indore seniors apologised
Few things:
Ism Dhanbad culture is bad, used to be terrible, but we are actively trying to reduce it.
It’s a simple fact that sir/Maam culture is there in the vast majority of our country’s colleges, which, while condemnable, can’t be fixed by spamming hate comments on one particular example.
Most of the violent, casteist and threatening comments were from people from other colleges, specifically iit Indore.
We have bad apples, like any college, but please don’t play with your career by not taking a branch in a good IIT due to misleading content. That’s all.
For the record I don’t support ragging; most of my batch(pre finals) are against it. We all collectively reduced it to what it is right now; few years ago it was absolute hell. Now only sir Maam culture remains, and honestly it’s going away too. Please ask any question you’d like to, I’ll try to answer as many as possible.
