Looking for people with unusual jobs in Montreal for a documentary project
Do you have a weird, unusual, or unexpected job?
I'm a documentary filmmaker based in Montreal, and I'm working on a new video series about people who make a living doing jobs that most of us probably didn't even know existed.
To see a bit more about me and what I've done, my website is parkerstaff.me
I've worked for Discovery, Paramount+, Netflix, Crave, the BBC and other channels.
I'm looking for people with interesting, unusual, niche, or downright strange jobs to be featured in short documentary-style videos about what they do and what life is like behind the job.
Maybe you're a:
• Crime scene cleaner
• Funeral director
• Stunt performer
• Tattoo artist
• Snake handler
• Underwater welder
• Private investigator
• Taxidermist
• Professional chef
• Tower climber
• Special-effects artist
• Or something I've never even heard of!
The job doesn't necessarily have to be "weird". I'm really looking for people who have a fascinating story or do something most people don't know much about.
The idea is to meet you, learn about your job, and spend a couple hours filming what you actually do. I'm interested in the people behind the jobs as much as the jobs themselves.
If you think your job might fit, or you know someone who would be perfect, send me an email at lifetimesofstories@gmail.com or comment below with a little bit about what you do.
Thanks! And please tag anyone you know who has an unusually interesting way of making a living!
