NX500 is the BRV of the motorcycles... for me
Sharing my thoughts on my first month with my NX500 (2024) version.
As the title says, I think the comfort and capability of this MC is comparable to Honda's BRV in the crossover segment. Ayoko syang tawagin as an adventure bike, it is more of a Crossover just like what NX apprently means - New Crossover. I think it's a mixture of adventure and touring. I also like the fact that it's not trying that hard na mag mukha din syang adventure bike as stock.
Newbie lang ako sa pagkakaroon ng "Big bike" and manual pero very forgiving naman ng transmission and ng clutch niya. Hindi naman sya masyadong mabigat din for me kasi malaking tao naman ako. Maintenance wise, wala pa ako masasabi kasi one month pa lang sakin haha libre pa lahat ng pms ko
When it comes to the ride, very upright and comfortable. Medyo ma vibrate lang ang kanyang handle bar. Normal daw according to a mechanic and others na natanungan ko sa TikTok. Nag ride na ko ng 2hrs straight with both highways and stand still traffics and no ngalays pero namanhid kamay ko.
When it comes to performance and efficiency, sakto lang naman power nya at hindi nakakatakot dalhin kahit sa expressways. I average 27kpl sa 1.1k na tinakbo nya sa loob ng isang buwan. City traffic plus highway din yun.
For anyone considering of buying the new e clutch version, I think sulit na sulit yun kasi hindi ka na mahihirapan pa sa traffic.
