Anyone else struggling to find a genuine speaking partner?
I spent the last week introducing myself in comments and DMs just to find a decent speaking partner, but so far I’ve only been able to talk to one person and just once :/
Even on language-learning apps like HelloTalk, it feels like 95% of people are there to flirt. I genuinely just want to improve my speaking, If anyone’s in the same boat and genuinely wants to improve their speaking, feel free to reach out to me!
I’m 20 years old and male, and I live in Türkiye. Even though I have B2 certificates, I’ve never really had an environment where I could practice speaking, so I’ve ended up stuck at around A2-B1 when it comes to actually speaking English.
