Timing

Ok I just heard that MMA cards are a thing from my barber and immediately got some startup content (I assume everyone hates whales like everything else and I may have done "startup" a little drunk so I'll keep it to myself). But I'm curious about two timing questions.

  1. Value effects of fight announcement. When they announce a fight, what happens to demand for cards of the fighters in that fight, favorite and underdog, and how does that split carry forward through a couple days after the fight?

  2. Set releases. Do sets release per calendar year, like car years, or something else? When do we expect 2027?

Sorry if these are dumb. I'm mostly buying for myself, and to a lesser extent to help people looking to complete a collection if I can. No intent to turn a profit. But I'm also an ex stock broker and love watching values almost as much as watching fights.

Thanks!

Fish rewards

Ok folks, who's done the math on what to buy with my fishes before they turn?

If nobody has run the numbers I can but no sense reinventing the wheel.

Road upgrades

Probably obvious but I just figured it out.

When you get the quest to upgrade x% of your roads, that's a great time to see if you have any you can bulldoze. I had a ton to lumber mills optimized for range=1 and no Surrounded by Nature. Also a bunch of unnecessary roads to oil.

Doesn't get you all the way of course but a good prompt for some hygiene.

Rewards buildings that sit on the shelf

Ok so this is my second event, and I'm getting some buildings I can't buy (yet). I also have some Super Pavement.

Which buildings at Endgame do you just not use even when they're free?

I'm still going to place everything I get of course (or are some maybe Premium Storage, not even as good as trees? I got them, eco, super eco, rift...), but I want to site the buildings to be easy to replace if I'm going to replace them, and not pavement the wrong things.

Settlement Booster Ticket Limits

Can you use these all the way to the end or is there a limit, like they only work until 100 or something?

They seem very powerful relative to their scarcity, which makes me question my understanding.

The "are you still active?' warning

With the xx/500 counter. Do I like lose the game if it hits 500/500? The game drains a lot of battery so I leave it charging while I play and sometimes walk away and get distracted.
