Empty house and a few glasses of wine, so thought I’d do a quick recording of one of the greatest songs ever written

Just got my first Martin today, a 2005 D-16rgt. After some really useful advice about cheaper D-28 alternatives I decided to pull the trigger on this and I’m over the moon with it! The playability is soooo nice, and it sounds amazing! I made a great choice. Can’t put it down

Just had this delivered today. First impressions are that this is the perfect home amp, sounds great at low volume and takes pedals really well! Very pleased with my decision. Just gone from a Vox AC15…and while I loved it at high volume I struggled at home levels.

Hi All,

Id love to get a D28 but right not I can’t afford it, and don’t want to have to wait. I’m not loving my current acoustic (Epiphone Inspired by Gibson J200), and want to change. So im going to sell that and put some towards a mid range Martin. I’m also a very mediocre player and not sure I can justify the £3k+

I’m toying between a used D-13e Ziricote, or D-12e.

What are people’s thoughts on these? Unfortunately there’s nothing nearby to me which have them in stock to play.
