Got my Senegal at 5 months old, he was always the goodest and snuggliest boy, once he turned 2 he’s been an absolute nightmare. I know it’s hormones but he’s just so aggressive. I just walk by his perch and he flies to attack me. I’m not even touching him when he does that, he just becomes the most aggressive bird. He will get off his perch and attack me while I’m 15 ft away from him for no reason. This isn’t fun anymore. I’m bleeding and being attacked every single day. I don’t want to rehome him because this family is all he’s known. I’ve tried everything. All the tricks and tips on the internet, a parrot behaviourist and a deslorelin implant. I’m just so upset because I love him but I honestly am so lost right now on what to do. I work at a vet clinic and the vet says he’s perfectly healthy so it’s not an illness or pain…
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Any advice?
