NOOP v7.2.0 on iOS seems broken with AltStore

Hey everyone,

Is anyone else having issues installing/updating to NOOP 7.2.0 on iOS (latest stable)?

I’m trying to install the update the same way as always, using AltStore, but this time it just crashes AltStore during the update process. The app doesn’t update and there’s no error message shown, so I’m not really sure what’s going wrong.

Previous updates worked fine for me with the same setup, so it seems like something may be broken specifically with the 7.2.0 IPA/build.

Has anyone managed to install 7.2.0 successfully on iOS via AltStore? Or is there a known workaround?

Used Whoop 5.0 + Noop - should I care about firmware version?

EDIT: I have just updated it to the latest firmware (v50.39.1.0), unpaired with Whoop and paired with Noop without any issues.

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a used Whoop 5.0 and started using it with Noop. So far, I’m really happy with it (huge thanks to everyone involved in making this possible).

One thing I’m wondering about: should I somehow make sure that the Whoop 5.0 is running the latest firmware?

I have no idea when the previous owner last used it, so there’s a chance it might still be on older firmware. I’m not sure if that matters for Noop, battery life, sensor accuracy, connectivity, or general stability.

Is there any recommended way to check/update the firmware before using it fully with Noop? Or is it better to avoid touching the official Whoop app/account once it’s working fine with Noop?

Would appreciate any advice from people who bought used bands or dealt with older firmware versions.
