Unfiltered relationship
I just completed Murakami's "Norwegian wood". I've been wondering ever since about the relationship between Watanabe and Midori. Starting as just plain friends and classmates getting to know each other in the cafe, they turned out to be friends/couples who share things in an Unfiltered manner expressing what they just feel.
When I was thinking about those 2 people, I was wondering would there be any friends/couples in real life who would be soo Unfiltered and transparent in talking about their thoughts and feelings (without having a second thought what the other person might think about you)??
I felt the relationship between Midori and Watanabe was more free flowing, open and brutally honest, than what he had with Naoko with a touch of sympathy and care.
Did anyone else felt this way about the characters when reading?
