Taken from distance to avoid disturbing the nest using 500mm lens.

My old neighbour was lucky to have these growing on the side of her house and has gone great lengths to ensure the mother and nest are happy, thriving and undisturbed.

Sneaky little Creeper

I find these little birds so hard to photograph. Finally had my chance with this little creeper.

This is a common occurrence and falls out once the larva is grown and the groundhog is left with a wound that heals over time. The botfly actually wait around the groundhog holes to find their way inside their host as they go in and out
