Are the real soft pajamas worth it?

They kind of went viral a little while ago but I’m wondering if they live up to the hype. I tried some on in store and they definitely were very soft and comfy, but I thought it seemed like they had the potential to pill and wear poorly

How late do parents have to be before you start texting them to ask if everything is okay?

Right now I’m babysitting for a family who told me they’d need me until 10:30. It’s about 10:45 now and I haven’t heard anything from them, no texts like “so sorry but we’re running late should be home around ___” or whatever. I’ve never encountered this before, parents have always been on time/early coming home, or if not they’ve texted with a heads up. How long past the agreed upon time do you text asking for an update? 20/30 minutes? I don’t have anything to do after this and don’t mind staying if they need since it’d be extra money but i’d still like them to acknowledge this and to know around when they’re expecting to be home

Social work graduation caption ideas

I just graduated with my MSW yesterday (yay!). It’s silly but I want to make an instagram post and am looking for a funny short social work-related joke or something for my caption. Like a simple one line pun or even a short funny quote from a movie/TV show about social work. When I looked up social work graduation captions they all felt kind of overdone. And the only thing from a TV show/movie I can think of is from Hacks, when Deborah says “she’s not even a psychologist, she’s a social worker!” (and that’s not exactly the most positive towards our profession lol)

I recently started babysitting for a new family and the mom asked if I would do occasional overnights. I’ve been sitting and nannying for years but have never done overnights. From seeing posts on this sub and other groups, my understanding is that people will sometimes charge a flat rate for sleeping hours and then normal rate for awake hours. However the mom never mentioned this and I’m not sure if it’s standard or applicable in my situation. I would be working 10:30pm-7:30am the next day. There are 3 kids, two 13 y/os and a 9 y/o. The kids would all be sleeping when I arrive, then I would just wake them up in the morning, oversee them getting ready (they are basically self sufficient), and drive them to school ~5 min away. My normal rate is $30/hr and I live in a relatively HCOL area (NYC suburb). Should I tell her I will charge a flat rate for their sleeping hours or leave it at my normal rate? I feel a bit guilty not doing a flat rate since I would be making considerably more idk if I’d be taking advantage of them for just hanging out and sleeping most of the time I’m there

ETA this wouldn’t be the most convenient situation for me since I’d have to go straight from her house in the morning to my grad school internship (idk if that makes a difference)
