Denied an MRI due to having protected intercourse ( NHS)

Hi I went to get my first mri and when they went through the questions before hand and asked if there’s a possibility of pregnancy, I said I had engaged in protected intercourse since my last period. They told me they were unable to do the scan until after my next period and after I take a pregnancy test. I understand there’s a protocol for pregnancy, my issue is nothing on the letters or paperwork or information booklet said I had to avoid engaging in sex to be allowed the mri. I’ve already waited months for this and it’s ended up wasting both my time and the NHS’s time. When I voiced my confusion they just kept repeating they were unable to tell anyone not to engage in sex. But if sex, even with a condom, means no mri, surely this should be better explained in advance?

Family member taking loans out in my name

Once I, 26F, turned 18 my mother started taking loans out in my name without my awareness. I received a letter 2 years ago after updating my address telling me about several different debts, most of which had been sold to other companies at that point. I tried working with my mum to get her to pay off the debts but because she constantly forgets, my credit score is screwed and I’m at the point I’ve been rejected for things like help with dental cost. What can I do to fix my credit report and what kind of trouble would my mum face? I’m in a terrible position atm
