Bought these from a farmers market yesterday in Ohio and the farmer said these started with the letter P but Google is telling me these are Tea Tree mushrooms. Any help is appreciated!
I've been an X-ray tech for about 5 years. I started an MRI job at a new facility in a new state less than 2 months ago and I'm so stressed I don't know how to proceed.
I know my way around the facility, where all the supplies are, how to do an iv and run labs, setting up patients and screening them (I have the occasional question about implants), I can do a lumbar and brain basically completely on my own. I know/ am pretty confident in everything besides pacemakers and actually scanning. I've been on a Siemens most of the time but today I learned I should've been scanning on the GE since that one is more beginner friendly/ it's easier to see how things change vs the siemens does everything automatically.
One of the techs, who I've never actually worked with, had a talk with me in front of the entire staff today, saying I need to ask more questions and be more assertive since everyone there just wants to help me but they don't know how since I don't ask questions. To me that means everyone has been talking about me and I think they think I'm not serious about learning MR. When I first started, I was constantly asking questions and I could tell I was annoying the main tech training me so I stopped and just asked my MRI teacher the questions or found the answers on my own.
I feel like everyone has high expectations of me and that I should be scanning more on my own/ not asking as many questions because when I do they very clearly get annoyed. Our manager isn't the best tech/ isn't respected so I don't want to go to him since he's already told me when I first started that no one has expectations of me, but I can tell everyone does.
There is so much new that my brain literally stops working sometimes because I can't keep up with everything, especially in the beginning. I try and study on my own; the tech training me pulled me aside a few weeks ago asking where the issue was/ why I wasn't grasping things faster. I told them everything is just so new I literally have a hard time keeping up. They seemed genuinely sympathetic and wanted to help, but when I ask them something that they probably have answered before I just can't remember, they get visibly annoyed.
I feel like I'm not allowed to relax and enjoy my time off and that I need to be studying constantly to keep up. I don't know what to do
