Yall ever feel like you are so deeply understood by Elliott that the best thing to do is to stop listening to him? Not because you don’t like his music anymore, not because you move on, but because how deeply it pierces through your sense of self (or something like that lol) that you must stop?

Well that was me 10 months ago, after listening to him on repeat for years.. Just sat still and listened to the entire New Moon album and it felt like finally sitting down after a 12 hour shift. I’m glad I stopped listening to him for a while, but I don’t know what it means to have decided to listen again. I love him so much.
