why does it keep filling with water?

i have the sunbeam compact barista and whenever we use it there’s this water at the top. tip the water out and underneath there’s the hardened cake of coffee it’s supposed to be, but i’m not sure why there’s water filling at the top. there’s a line in the basket that we fill the grounds to as recommended by the manual. very new to coffee

any legal advice

Hi all! need some advice regarding a workplace injury. found out that over the last 2 years my workplace air has been poisoning me which has resulted in a lot of negative effects on my health.
I’m only 20 so I don’t know much about the legal system and if anyone could help answer a few questions that would be great!
what’s the difference between suing and going for a workers comp claim through like a no win no fee lawyer? what’s the cut they typically take?
what are the costs associated with a typical lawyer if i went down the path of suing?
does anyone know any lawyers either for suing or workers comp claims, and what are some green or red flags to look out for?
I’m in the south east suburbs, so preferably anyone near ringwood, glen waverly kind of area would be great.
do you know anyone who’s been through something similar?
any general advice?
anything is appreciated.
this is very stressful and I don’t have anyone around me for guidance, everyone is telling me different things to do and I don’t know what to do.
i don’t know anything about any of this so any advice at all is appreciated.
thank you!

high school setting books?

I enjoy books based on high schoolers, with a bit of stereotypes and cliques sprinkled in. Some with tragedy too, maybe similar to Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoulti or The 9th Girl by Tami Hoag. All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. I enjoy books that navigate high school cliques and stereotypes and that will make me cry a few times.
