Doc needs Tarkov

Guys, I get that there haven’t been many new shooters lately and Doc keeps saying there’s nothing to play, but that’s just not true. Tarkov is peak right now. The game’s been optimized, it takes like 3 minutes to get into a raid, and holy shit there’s so much stuff to do. Bosses, quests, a main storyline with an ending that would be absolutely epic with Doc.

Let’s be real, guys, everyone who thinks it’s a snoozefest has literally never actually tried the game. And on top of that, Doc clearly enjoys Tarkov. He probably just doesn’t play because of the chubby cheeks crying in chat saying it’s boring. It’s “boring” because he’s not used to it yet. If he actually played enough, or played with someone else (like Viss), it would be 1000000x more VSM than all the garbage he’s playing right now.

And honestly, after trying pretty much all of them, there’s basically no fucking difference between battle royales anymore. Game 1 of Apex is gonna be the exact same damn thing as game 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.. please change my mind.

[Discussion] The Good Sides of the New Prestige System

Hey guys, I know this subreddit mainly exists to complain and bitch about whatever BSG does, but here’s at least one positive side of the recent changes, at least for me personally:

I’m mainly a pve player. There’s basically no point for me to go into PvP when it would take me over a year to get Terminal, Kappa, or any other “prestigious” stuff, especially when right now I’d be fighting people who are completely maxed out in everything. It’s borderline unfair.

But because of the recent changes, I actually 100% feel like going back to pvp and trying to reach Prestige 1. There’s a good chance that once I hit Prestige 1, I’ll want to try Prestige 2 too. Why not? It actually feels achievable now. And after getting Prestige 2, why stop there and not try for 3?

Guess what: without even realizing it, I’ve improved at pvp simply because I decided to actually play it. There’s even a chance that after that, I won’t have any interest in going back to pve at all.

I get that this might be a little sad for the people who play every single day and whose life goal was to reach Prestige 1, but for normal people, this is cool, and I’m pretty convinced that in the long run, this was a good decision from BSG.
