Hi everyone, i recently broke a weekender rim in half while taking the set apart. Unfortunately i have passed the one-year warranty and it seems that online they dont sell rims individually. I was thinking of hot glueing/super glueing the piece together instead.
Has anyone does this or do you think it will hold up? Or should i skip it or just buy a replacement set

A bit about me: i've been living with roommates for the last two years, so i can say that i am rlly clean, have a consistent sleep schedule, type a in terms of getting things around the house done. im a political science major and am usually out of the house most of the day anyway. i love going to concerts, trying different boba places, and also making my own matcha

Hi everyone, I'm an incoming transfer student and am trying to plan out my summer schedule with the ucla orientation as I will be interning in SF, and will most likely have to fly back to SF right after orientation ends. Does anyone from last year remember approximately what time transfer orientation ends and/or if its fine to leave early?
Hi everyone I'm a recently admitted transfer student and am pretty sure i want to do the university apartments for housing. I ranked all of my 12 choices as UA options in the ucla housing form. However, I want to know how the roommate matching thing works. If i find another transfer student that i would like to room with, would we have to wait to see if we get assigned the same UA assignment before we say we want to room together? Or do we do it by the roommate groups deadline on june 7th? And do our apartment rankings have to be the exact same on the housing form to be considered together?
I'm just confused as to if there is any real urgency right now to find a roommate or if I should wait until people actually get assigned housing. and also any advice on finding roommates and/or info on generally how big the apartments are. Thanks!
Hi everyone this is super last minute but i need help.
I moved out a week ago (currently in socal) and left my stuff at a roommate’s place and their lease was supposed to end when the one at our new place started. However, the move-in date got pushed back and my roommates are going back home locally for the few days where there is a gap. They arent able to take my stuff with them
However a friend let me know they can hold onto my stuff for the time being, but they are leaving the country tomorrow and will only be available dinnertime, and someone would have to bring the boxes to them.
The move would be around 3-4 blocks both places in downtown berkeley. I have 4-5 boxes
