Advance Roller wheels lubrication or switch to G Line 70mm or 80mm?
Hi everyone I have the Advance Complete Rear Rack Kit on my Brompton seen at this link https://www.brompton.com/p/680/advance-roller-frame-kit?Colour=Black
Because the wheels have no bearings they become sluggish when pushing if not lubricated. Even though I put a few drops of wet oil (Muc Off wet lube) after about a week it seems to dry up making the bike harder to push when folded. I think if I put some grease instead of oil it should last longer and keep rolling smooth. Can anyone pls tell me what kind of grease to use if Finish Line Premium Grease is not right? And also decent alternative wheels (meaning not generic/chinese) that have bearings built in if that is the better way to go? I was told the G Line 70mm or 80mm are good upgrades either 70mmX2 and 80mmX2 or 4 of each as they have bearings but the Brompton site lists them as compatible only with the G Line.
